The poem is lovely, a wonderful message. Only thought I would speak here is, her last line misses the present reality – we ARE, even now, IN CHRIST, IN the “promised land.” Christ, the Anointed One, IS our promised land – and hallelujah, no longer just “promised:, but a present reality.
So often it seems that we fail to realize who, what, where is our NOW.
